- Twisted Knot uses the Unique Twists and Knots of Pine and the Distinctive look of Northern White Cedar to make Every Piece "One of a Kind."
- All Logs are harvested by Hand, Peeled, and Air Dried to Moisture Content less than 20%, which helps to minimize any post-construction shrinkage.
- All Knots are sanded smooth and the Logs are buffed, creating a smooth yet rustic look.
- All Log Joinery is formed using the extremely strong Hole-&-Tenon connection.
- Twisted Knot likes to use a screw less design, thus hiding all screws, and not piercing any flat surface with screws. No plugs!!!
- Three Rusticity levels are available; Knotty and Twisty (most rustic), Just Right, Straight and regular (least rustic).

- Pine and Cedar lumber is used in pieces requiring tops, enclosures, drawers, etc.
- Twisted Knot uses Hand picked lumber, containing unique and distinguishing Knots and Grain.
- All Drawers are constructed using Veneer Core Birch Plywood.
